Tom Bergeron Brazilian Band
The Tom Bergeron Brazilian Band plays a wide spectrum of music grounded in Brazilian rhythms and genres. With an extensive repertoire that includes samba, choro, bossa nova, and baiao (among others), the Tom Bergeron Brazilian Band appeals to audiences of all ages and colors.
Tom Bergeron has been playing and studying Brazilian music for over 3 decades. In recent years he has lived in Rio de Janeiro, and played with some of Rio's finest musicians. He is well-known to Oregon audiences, where he has lived and worked since 1981.
Cassio Vianna and Wagner Soares both grew up in Rio de Janeiro and spent their early professional years playing and recording with their own band, Dialeto Brasileiro. They now live in Oregon, where they are delighting audiences with their music.
Jason Palmer is Oregon's premier drummer, and one of the most versatile and groovacious drummers anywhere. Together, this truly pan-American band brings together the best of North and South.
