Come on by the Boathouse on Suttle Lake to hear some Brazilian music! Here are the details:

Friday 28 December 6-8 pm

The December episode of the Teal Creek Music Sampler features Western Rebellion, playing Keller Coker’s composition, Mr. Saturday Dance. Western Rebellion is the resident faculty jazztet at Western Oregon University. This track is from the band’s first (and only, so far!) album, Western Rebellion.

I’ll be performing with my trio at Sahalie Wine Bar in Corvallis Saturday evening 22 December. We’ll be playing Brazilian music from 9-12. The band will be me with Christopher Woitach on guitar and John Shaw on bass.

The first episode is “Trikonasana,” a track from the most recent Labirynt CD, Motion Tissue. “Trikonasana” refers to a yoga “asana” or pose. It’s sometimes called the “Triangle Pose.” I hope you enjoy it!
