Labirynt
A chance encounter in Lyon, France, in 1997 led to the formation of Labirynt as a quartet — and to a tour of Poland shortly thereafter. Labirynt, the band’s first recording, was tracked in a Soviet Union-era radio station studio in Katowice, Poland, using exquisitely-maintained vintage microphones and pre-amps; and was mixed and mastered by Billy Oskay in Oregon. It features compositions by Bergeron, Gembalski, and Majchrzak, as well as group improvisations.
